Oud and violin maestro and educator Simon Shaheen is recognized as one of the most prominent Arab musicians of our time, celebrated for his exceptional abilities in both traditional and contemporary music. The Ensemble: Simon Shaheen – violin and 'ud, Najib Shaheen – 'ud, Layan Hawila – vocal, Firas Zreik – qanun, Tareq Rantisi – percussion, Rami Aboulaya – nay. Opening will be Mehrnam Rastegari and her Trio featuring Panagiotis Andreou on bass and Ignabu on drums.
