  Ukrainian history and language by taking part in a role-play game based
  on the Kyivan Rus manuscripts “Princess Olha and Her Ascent to Power\,”
  all in the style of Dungeons & Dragons. Come expand your knowledge abou
 t Ukraine in an interactive\, fun\, and unique way! \nThe evening will b
 egin with a special performance of “Olha of Kyiv” by acclaimed puppeteer
  and performer Zlata Godunova. \nLight refreshments will be provided. Ad

 nko is a specialist in Slavic studies and the creator of Ukrainian Langu
 age Card Deck: Learn Ukrainian with Card Games\, the series the Medieval
  Game Night will be centered around. He serves as a Visiting Assistant P
 rofessor and Director of the Russian program at the State University of 
 New York\, Albany. Additionally\, he is a Practicing Assistant Professor
  of Ukrainian at the University of North Carolina. He earned his Ph.D. f
 rom Columbia University\, where his doctoral research examined tropes of
  alterity in Soviet and Polish science fiction. \nZlata Godunova is a Ne
 w York-based emerging puppeteer\, actress\, and dancer originally from U
 kraine. She was classically trained at the National Academic Theatre of 
 Drama and Musical Comedy in Ukraine and has performed in theater and pup
 pet productions at Hunter College\, Theater Row\, and the Swedish Cottag
