Explore the fantastical mind of Todd Almond as he shares a personal yet deeply relatable story about overcoming emotional and logistical odds to connect with someone who might just be the love of his life in I'm Almost There, directed by Tony Award winner David Cromer. Our hero's home, once a secure and safe respite, is now a warship adrift at sea and beset by NYC eccentricities: a hot new cult, unhinged blood-sucking neighbors, and a masterless feral feline. The inhabitants of his building take on the aspect of mystical beasts, determined to thwart his valiant efforts to simply emerge from his apartment to claim victory. Joined by a harpist and bassist only, our protagonist soldiers onward in his heroic mission.
